Portfolio Workshops

High school class on high-rise buildings

I have had several requests to work with high-school students who need a portfolio to submit for admission into a design school or school of architecture.

What I have found successful is for the student to select a topic from the workshops listed, or suggest another subject of interest, and go through the project with them assisting the student as they develop design sketches, a set of scale drawings and a model that can be submitted as a significant part of their portfolio.

During this time we will also discuss the many career avenues open to those with a degree in architecture including the path to becoming a licensed architect.

This requires students to spend time outside of the class to complete the assignments.

The workshop is for four weeks and we meet once each week for an hour online.

The fee is $175 USD or the equivalent in all other currencies.
